Your challenge
The Research team has designed quantitative methods and research modules for the International Business curriculum. You will be working with students in the age groups of 17, 18 and 19 years. The groups consist of students with various international and cultural backgrounds. To ensure that our diverse group of students has level required for our programme, the course Introduction to Quantitative Methods aims to refresh and increase the level of the students regarding mathematics and statistics. Furthermore, teaching more research related courses and the supervision and assessment of International Business-related theses can be part of the job description as well.

We are therefore looking for dedicated team member that loves to develop young people into international professionals via interactive lessons, workshops and assignments. You are able to create a safe learning environment and you are a compassionate listener with the ability to articulate feedback (positive and constructive) in a clear way. In education, good communication skills are a must and it is important that you can encourage and inspire students. 

About you
We are looking for a lecturer holding a master’s degree, with knowledge of quantitative methods, the application of math’s in business, numerical / analytical thinking skills or a background in education and quantitative research. It is also important that you have teaching experience and skills, excellent (business) English and communication skills and preferably knowledge of procedures and standards within higher education and AMSIB.

What you can expect from us

  • The maximum gross monthly salary for this position is € 5.026,- on a full-time appointment. Your salary will depend on your level of education and experience.
  • A temporary appointment for one year. If we are enthusiastic about your performance and you are enjoying yourself, we will discuss a permanent appointment.
